The painting series is a mesmerizing collection of head figures, each with a long body decorated with an array of dots, exciting colours, symbols, patterns, and motifs. Consisting of four head figures, one of them is turned upside down, creating an asymmetric composition that adds to its unusual expression.
I have previously created paintings like this but with only three or two head figures, none of which were turned upside down. With the Be Different 1, I wanted to create something distinct from my previous works. The painting measures 54 by 54 inches and is made with Acrylic on canvas.
The artwork is synonymous with its title as it conveys the ideology of standing out, never conforming to the crowd, and being unique. The painting represents my desire to differentiate myself from others amidst the bombardment of trendy artworks and visuals online. I work experimentally to create pieces that are exceptional and distinctive in my own right.
In a world that is constantly searching for something unconventional, crazy, and unique, Be Different 1 represents an expression of my desire to inspire others to embrace their individuality. It is a painting that encourages the viewer to challenge the status quo and strive to make a difference by being different.
