Standing at 38 by 24 inches, Sisiekos 1 emerges as a natural extension of my previous collection, aptly named Sisieko. While the initial series featured a single decorative female figure, I felt compelled to expand upon that vision. In this new painting series, I present two mesmerizing female figures, gracefully intertwined. Hence, the plural form is born, and Sisiekos comes to life.
These two vibrant and alluring characters, united in striking poses, demand attention from any beholder. Their essence captures the very essence of the word “Sisieko” – a term originating from Nigerian musical artists of the past. It was a phrase used to describe a young fine lady with fascinating curves, capable of captivating any man’s gaze.
